Santa Pictures: $10 each/packages available
‘Tis the season to celebrate.  Please join us along with your dogs, cats, children, adults, etc. to have photos taken with Santa Claus.  The photos are great as gifts or holiday cards.

In addition, we will have an awesome bake sale of delicious confections – all yummy homemade.  It will be the perfect time to stock up and freeze items for the holidays.

All funds go to the support of our homeless Dobes.  Your support is sincerely appreciated.

Georg Frederic Handel's Messiah holds a special place in the hearts of music lovers everywhere. Joining the CPC chorus and Festival Orchestra under the direction of Frances Dawson for this concert will be renowned guest soloists Amy Van Roekel, soprano, Mary Ann McCormick, mezzo, Charles Reid, tenor, and Lester Lynch, baritone, and Henry Lowe, positiv organ. Children's Holiday Open House
Sunday, December 4, 1-3 pm.
Welcome in the season with an afternoon of fun at Shady Side's Captain Avery Museum. In addition to holiday goodies, hot cider, hot chocolate, and holiday crafts, the open house will feature a very special reading of "The Night Before Christmas" by Lothian Elementary Principal Melissa Brown.  SHHH!  Don't tell the kids but Santa is expected early in the afternoon. Free.

Partners in Care: Building Community for Aging in Place

Captain Avery Museum For over 20 years, Partners in Care has been empowering older adults to remain independent in their homes and active in their communities. Linda Dennis, the Anne Arundel County coordinator for Partners in Care, will discuss the organization's culture of reciprocity and answer your questions.
