We will be encouraging the “Peace Across America” (PAA) initiative by auctioning off vivid, colorful artwork by Sid Yoga’s Founder, Sid McNairy, Lululemon clothing, studio merchandise, harmonic and yogic statues, and more. Proceeds will help PAA’s mission for promoting peace, harmony, and togetherness throughout our country. Help be apart of this wonderful initiative by stopping by our studio and placing a bid on any of the wonderful art you see hanging in our classrooms and lobby.

The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland invites you to experience the THRILL OF A LIFETIME! Go “over the edge” of the 15-story hotel, descending from the roof to the ground. You’ll join adventure seekers, kidney patients and loved ones, corporate leaders in the “Toss Your Boss” challenge and others of all ages. In addition to offering a surge of adrenaline, the event will feature face painting, a DJ and additional entertainment in the landing zone where friends, family members and hotel guests will cheer on the Rappel participants. Individuals and teams will receive their own fundraising webpage to assist in reaching the required $1,000 minimum to participate in the event. Once the money is raised, they will undergo Rappel training, receive an event T-shirt and get a commemorative photo of their Rappel. Event proceeds will support NKF-MD’s patient services, education and research efforts. Learn easy and effective ways for constructing "raised beds" in your backyard, garden, or farm! Is your soil preventing you from an ideal garden? Our workshop teaches you how to build raised beds to enable a garden perfect for harvesting! Together we will construct wooden “beds” based from designs submitted from students in our Sustainable Agriculture class. Bring a hammer( if you choose but we’ll also have some). This event is recommended mainly for adults because of construction purposes. Cost is free though a $15 donation would be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible! Professor Rothman is an expert in the history of the United States from the Revolution to the Civil War, and in the history of slavery and abolition in the Atlantic world.
